Brad Claridge of Callander has been awarded the Conservative Party of Canada’s 2023 Maple Leaf Award for Outstanding Financial Agent.
The Maple Leaf Awards are presented at the Conservative Party of Canada National Convention to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in various categories. Nominations are received from across the country in a competitive process and reviewed individually by a national awards committee to determine the winners.
“The Outstanding Financial Agent Award recognizes an individual who has taken on the role beyond what is expected of a local volunteer Financial Agent”, said Gordan Rennie, President of the Nipissing-Timiskaming Conservative Association.
“Brad has been Financial Agent for the Nipissing-Timiskaming Conservatives for over 19 years and served as our Official Agent for five election campaigns. He is the local ‘go to’ for any questions about party finances and has mentored many new board members and campaign finance volunteers.
“As Financial Agent, Brad has been an active participant in our candidate search process many times and shares his knowledge and experience with committee
members and potential candidates.
“We are really pleased that Brad’s efforts have been recognized nationally and also want to thank his wife Jayne for supporting Brad in this role”, said Rennie.
