Local Producer wins award at CogecoTV Star Awards

Forsyth won one of the 12 awards that were handed out in the provincial CogecoTV event.

CogecoTV North Bay Producer Jake Forsyth took home a 2016 Star Award at the annual show in Burlington, Ontario on June 9th.     

Forsyth took home the Best News Feature award for a Remembrance Day feature on 93-year-old Vina Trowsdale of North Bay. 

Forsyth won one of the 12 awards that were handed out in the provincial CogecoTV event.  

“Communications is the meaningful exchange of information,” stated Louise St-Pierre, Cogeco Connexion President & CEO. 

“I believe this definition defines the work CogecoTV does each and every day” as she congratulated all the Star Awards nominees and winners.”
