July 2016 statistics
Over the month of July 2016, the North Bay Police Service responded to 105 domestic-related calls for service. As a result of police investigations into these complaints, 27 people were arrested and a total of 73 criminal charges were laid.
17 men were arrested and charged. The charges were:
- 14 assaults
- 5 assaults with a weapon
- 4 threatening
- 1 criminal harassment
- 2 forcible confinements
- 1 robbery
- 4 thefts under $5000
- 2 mischiefs
- 15 failures to comply with release orders
- 7 charges related to domestic violence with police and public as victims (police pursuit/escape)
Ten women were arrested and charged. The charges were:
- 4 assaults
- 3 assaults with a weapon
- 1 forcible confinement
- 4 mischiefs
- 6 failures to comply with release orders

Six men were arrested and charged. The charges were:

Eight women were arrested and charged. The charges were:
- 5 assaults
- 1 threatening
- 1 criminal harassment
