QUEEN’S PARK – More than $21,000 is being awarded through the Ontario Arts Council to three local organizations, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.
Project grants include:
- $11,000 to Theatre North through the Theatre Projects program toward the third annual edition of their On the Edge Fringe Festival. It will be presented in North Bay in summer 2016.
- $5,750 to the Capitol Centre through the Compass program toward the development of a volunteer development and management plan. It will be undertaken in North Bay in summer/autumn 2016.
- $5,000 to Nipissing First Nation through the Aboriginal Presenters in the North: Music Events program toward its Annual Artist Gathering & Art Show, an event highlighting local First Nation musicians.
