Last Friday there was the LGBTQ2+ Tea Party.
"It was sponsored by Pride and it was fun," says Nadean Schryer. "There were students from Fricker, West Ferris, Widdifield and Chippewa. There were beverages (tea, hot chocolate, coffee, juice) and snacks (vegetables, cookies, etc).
"A grade 8 student. Emma St-John organized the event It was a wonderful evening and students, whether they were part of the Community or Allies, enjoyed the evening, dancing and talking about equality."
In the Asexual flag, you see Sally Colvin (grandmother) supporting her granddaughter, Maguire Colvin-Smith.
