(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Monday January 26, 2015 the owner of a Toyota Yaris parked her car in her driveway on Centre St in the town of Huntsville. When she got up on Tuesday morning her vehicle was gone. The car had nearly a full tank of gas, had its ownership and insurance in the vehicle and had a single key hidden in the vehicle. There was also a child’s car seat in the rear seat of the vehicle.
The vehicle was located later just after noon not far from where it was taken. The culprits had damaged the vehicle, drove it until the gas was empty and had removed the child’s car seat, prior to leaving it in another driveway.
Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s help in locating the culprits who stole this vehicle and are hoping to locate the child’s car seat. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
