Homeowner assaulted after home invasion

(BLIND RIVER, ON) – On January 19, 2015 at 10:30 p.m. officers from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blind River received a call of a disturbance at a residence on Nadon Street in Blind River.  Officers attended the residence and learned that two males had walked into the victim’s house and proceeded to assault and threaten him.  The two males are described as being 5’-6”to  5’-8” in height and 25-30 years of age.  The suspects then fled the house on foot in an unknown direction of travel. The victim attended the hospital for treatment of his injuries and released.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two males who are responsible for this crime.
