OPP are saying a head-on collision between two snowmobiles in Hearst has left one man dead and another with serious injuries in hospital.
It happened at approximately 11:45 last night on a lake east of Hearst.
Gino Couture, 26, from Hearst, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other male driver was taken to a local hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.
Members of the James Bay detachments of the OPP, as well as the Cochrane District Emergency Medical Services and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, responded.
The investigation is ongoing.
