We are pleased to announce that our Rain Garden Project is underway. Greening Nipissing has partnered with the North Bay and District Humane Society for this Rain Garden Project thanks to funding from the RBC Blue Water Community Action Grant.
The public is invited to take part in the Rain Garden installation.
Join us: Thursday, September 22 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at the North Bay and District Humane Society, 2060 Main St. West.
Volunteers needed to help weed and prep the garden Sept. 15 9:00am and on planting day Sept. 22.
We are also looking for a few dedicated volunteers to form a Rain Garden Maintenance Crew who will care for the garden's weeding and watering in the future.
