Frances McParland,  owner of Blue Sky Personal Support Workers Ltd recently presented a cheque in the amount of $5,000 to the North Bay Selects Soccer Club Girls Under 11 Team.

The donation will pay for practice space, exhibition games, and uniforms and team building fun activities.

Supporting  youth programmes which encourage physical activity and team building activities is very important to McParland. "These young girls are going to learn a number of new skills by being part of this team. Things like making mistakes and learning from them, how to be a leader, how to set and achieve goals, how to lose with dignity,  how to know your strengths and weaknesses and most importantly that any success requires hard work.  All of these lessons will help them grow and perhaps encourage them to give back to their communities when they are adults.

Blue Sky Personal Support Workers Ltd will also be hosting a "Senior's Making A Difference" Complimentary Luncheon in June which will recognize five seniors in our community who are dedicated to giving back to the community. Information about how someone can attend the free luncheon can be found on our website at www.blueskypsws.com or by calling 705-498-1588.
