We would like to invite you to meet Bev Woods, the founder of the Gift from the Heart, a day of NO COST dental hygiene care to those who are unable to afford treatment.
On Thursday October 20th, 2016, Bev Woods will present the origin of this special event at Canadore College in room D 236. The actual event involving registered dental hygienists, students and professors will not be taking place on October 20 however, but on April 8th.
The Gift from the Heart day which will take place on Saturday April 8th, 2017 is a day of giving back to the community. Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Hygiene students as well as the professors of the Dental Hygiene Program will donate their time and offer dental hygiene care to those who are financially incapable of accessing care on a regular basis.
Additionally, several local businesses have contributed to this project year after year to make this day a success.
