The contractor for the Gertrude Street Sewage Pumping Station, Sanitary Sewer and Forcemain project is completing sanitary sewer and forcemain connections to the proposed pumping station in front of West Ferris Community Center.
Starting this morning and continuing for the next two weeks the road in front of the West Ferris Community Center will be closed to through traffic.
The detour used during the summer and fall for this project is still in place and will allow traffic to travel around the work zone.
