New Ontario Brewing Company and KiSS 100.5 have collaborated again to create a beer in support of families battling Cystic Fibrosis.

For the second year, New Ontario Brewing Company, a locally owned and operated brewery located in North Bay, ON, and KiSS 100.5 is are pleased to announce the re-launch of Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale which took place this morning at a launch party.

Tilted Tower Broadcaster’s Ale is a light, easy drinking wheat ale, made with blueberry juice. Fifty cents from every can will be donated to Cystic Fibrosis North Bay.

Mike Harrison, the Brew Master and one of the owners of New Ontario brewing, felt after the success of last year’s launch, they wanted to re-invent the beer a bit.

“We sold out last year in about two days- and are hoping that we can raise even more money for this worthy cause,” said Harrison.

Cystic Fibrosis is a common fatal genetic illness that affects thousands of Canadians. Currently, there is no cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

Kevin Oschefski, Program Director and Announcer for KiSS 100.5, has done other charity events for the cause in the past.

“My Job takes me all over the city, and I get to meet some truly incredible people, including children suffering from Cystic Fibrosis," said Oschefski in a release.

"This made me decide that I wanted to help.”

New Ontario Brewing is located at 1881 Cassells Street in North Bay.
