Erratic driver charged with impaired

On Sunday April 1 at 3:30 pm OPP officers responded to a complaint of an erratic driver on Highway 17 near Cobden. 

Police found the vehicle and watched it cross over the centre line into oncoming traffic. 

The vehicle was stopped and the female driver was found to be under the influence of drugs. She failed a standard field sobriety test and was arrested for impaired driving. 

Following further tests conducted by a drug recognition expert officer at the detachment, she was charged. Stephanie Bowes aged 37 of Pembroke was charged with impaired driving.
