Eighteen arrested over the weekend

One person was charged with two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of uttering threats.

Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 234 calls for service and arrested and charged 18 people with the following offences:

  • One person was charged with one count of theft under $5000 (shoplifting) and one count of breach of probation;
  • Two people were charged with one count of theft under $5000 (shoplifting);
  • One person was charged with forcible confinement;
  • One person was charged with unlawful in dwelling;
  • One person was charged with two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of uttering threats;
  • One person was charged with assault with a weapon;
  • One person was charged with one count of break and enter with intent, one count of assault causing bodily harm, one count of assault and one count of mischief under $5000;
  • One person was charged with one count of theft under $5000; one count of identity fraud; one count of use of credit card; one count of possession of property obtained by crime; and one count of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with break and enter and commit;
  • One person was charged with theft of motor vehicle and drive over 80;
  • One person was charged with one count of obstruct police and one count of possession of cocaine;
  • One person was charged with one count of breach of peace;
  • One person was charged with one count of carry concealed weapon and six counts of breach of probation;
  • One person was charged with public intoxication and one count of breach of recognizance; and
  • Three people were charged with public intoxication.
