On Saturday, June 17 from 2-3 pm, the North Bay Public Library will welcome Tim Jeffries: Dinosaur Expert, for the home stretch of his final Ontario tour before he moves to Drumheller, Alberta.

"In this final lecture we explore the newest science in Paleontology, in a fun and interactive way," says a releae. "Old Dinosaurs, New Science, continues the tradition of passion and entertainment on a subject that is beloved by all ages."

Even though dinosaurs died 66 million years ago, the study and science of paleontology have never been more important than now.

"With the sixth extinction upon us, we must learn what these amazing creatures can teach us. With new technology, we discover more each day, which not only helps us understand our past but also benefits us to save our future."

This event is intended for patrons ages 8 and up.

Tickets are now on sale and must be purchased in-person at the Children’s Department. Tickets are $3 per person. All children must be accompanied by adults. Everyone who enters the show must have a ticket.
