West Nipissing police are looking for a man who switched price stickers at a business to pay a lower amount.

West Nipissing police are looking for a man who switched price stickers at a business to pay a lower amount.

The business owner told police that a customer came into his store, browsed, then took an item valued at over $150 and exchanged the price tag to reflect a much lower price.

He paid the lower price and fled.

The thief is a white male with a beard wearing a red shirt. 

Also yesterday, police got a complaint of a break-enter and theft at a Coursol Road home.

Police learned that while the tenant was away from her apartment a man entered and made off with an assortment of jewelry.

The suspect was seen lurking around the building and was then confronted by a neighbor and told that police had been called. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival.

Police are looking for a white male, medium build that is approximately 6 feet tall.
