On December 4, Conseil scolaire catholique Franco-Nord welcomed the newly elected trustees during the inaugural ceremony and meeting attended by approximately 20 people, including members of the administration.
The evening began with a religious ceremony presided by Father Gilles Grandmont who blessed the group prior to swearing-in the trustees and signing their declaration.
Diane Corriveau, a trustee since 2004 was once again acclaimed as Chair.
“I would like to sincerely thank my colleagues for their trust. I will continue to work ardently for our students. My door is always open,” she says.
Roch Pilon, a trustee since 2014 was elected as Vice-Chair.
“It’s with pride and commitment that I assume my duties in an environment of collaboration and respect.” said Pilon.
Monique Ménard, Director of Education and secretary-treasurer of the board, welcomed the six elected members at the start of this new four-year term.
“We will continue, together with the trustees, whether they are new or have experience, to evolve.” says Ménard. “I congratulate and thank each and every one of them for their time and devotion, ensuring the success and well-being of our French Catholic students."
