This weekend saw CUPE 122, representing North Bay city and library workers, make a donation of 1,368 rolls of toilet paper to the local TP North Bay campaign.

Representatives from CUPE 122, Scott Robertson and Mike Pigeau made the delivery to TP North Bay’s Peter Gregory.

“It’s great when workers get a chance to give back to our community in this way.  CUPE 122 is just one of the countless community groups that are trying to make our city a more compassionate place,” said Pigeau. “This kind of thing is a great way to remind us that we are all connected and when we come together to do good work, we really can make a difference for our neighbours. We’d also like to give a shout-out to the good people at FreshCo on Trout Lake road who’ve offered a really good deal for this TP campaign.

CUPE 122’s donation was a boost for TP North Bay which is trying to reach a goal of 20,000 rolls.

This toilet paper is donated to local charities such as food banks.
