CARP North Bay Chapter raises the flag in salute to
community seniors!
October 1st is National Seniors Day and the North Bay CARP Chapter joins local dignitaries to raise the CARP flag and celebrate seniors for their enormous contribution to our community.

North Bay, ON - As part of National Seniors Day, the media and community of North Bay are invited to a free CARP Flag Raising ceremony at North Bay City Hall. Mayor Al MacDonald will preside over the raising of the flag, along with Ron Farrell, President and Board Chair of the North Bay & District Chapter for CARP to thank seniors and draw attention to their contributions in making our community, a great place to live.
The flag rising will take place at North Bay City Hall, 200 McIntyre Street East, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. Please note the ceremony will take place rain or shine at the flagpole at city hall’s main entrance. A hot beverage and slice of cake is available to those attending the ceremony.
The City of North Bay and CARP plans to celebrate National Seniors Day and raise awareness of the enormous contribution made by seniors to our community. Seniors provide volunteer work, care giving, sharing knowledge, wisdom and expertise to the benefit of the next generation and our community.
