Canada's largest Muslim youth group visited South River as part of a cross-Canada tour.
After successfully visiting over 300 towns as part of the Explore Islam tour, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association visited South River on June 25.
This campaign includes visiting over 1,000 cities, towns and villages from coast to coast, where Canadians will have the opportunity to ask questions about Islam directly from Muslims.
In South River the group held campaign signs and distributed flyers to local residents.
"The Muslim youth were able to participate in two-way dialogue and experience the perspectives of local residents," says a news release.
In Islam there is only one God, and Allah is the Arabic name for that Divine Being.
"Allah has revealed himself to mankind through His messengers (prophets), from the very first moment that human intellect was able to conceive the notion of God," says their website.
"Allah has revealed to mankind that He has no partner, nor does He have any biological children or anything like unto Him. Allah is the perfect and peerless being who is the Creator, Sustainer and Master of the universe. He is All-Powerful and All-Knowing. His Knowledge comprehends all things and there is nothing that is outside His power."
