A Spanish Ontario woman has been charged after police stopped her during a RIDE program in the town of Spanish.

Shortly before 12:00 a.m., yesterday a vehicle entered the OPP R.I.D.E check area and a traffic stop was initiated. 

The investigation determined the female driver was suspended and she had a passenger under the age of 16 that was not buckled up.

As a result of the investigation, Natalie St. Jean, 40, from Spanish, was charged with:

  • Drive While Passenger Under 16 Fails to Occupy Position with Seat Belt and with
  • Driving While Under Suspension,
