Breath gives driver away

The accused's driver's licence was suspended for 90 days

On January 18, at 3:42 a.m., North Bay OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 in West Nipissing, for a Highway Traffic Act violation.  

After speaking to the driver, it was determined that he had consumed alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Theoren Commanda, 25, of North Bay, was arrested and charged with Driving with More than 80mg of Alcohol in Blood. 

The accused's driver's licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
