****************(                      BREAK AND ENTER TO SUNDRIDGE BUSINESS

 

SUNDRIDGE, ON) On December 26, 2014 at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a break and enter to a Sundridge business, located on John Street.  Unknown person(s) entered the business sometime between December 24, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. and December 26, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.  Police are continuing to investigate in regards to any stolen items, however there was substantial damage done by the suspect(s) to the building.

 

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this break and enter should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.”

 

     POLICE ARREST TWO YOUTHS FOR THEFT FROM VEHICLES

 

(SUNDRIDGE, ON) The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police is investigating several thefts from vehicles in the Village of South River that occurred between December 11, 2014 and December 14, 2014.

 

On Wednesday December 24, 2014 OPP arrested two male youths aged 16 with theft under $5000 and possession of stolen property, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

 

Thefts from vehicles are preventable.  Protect your vehicle from theft by always rolling up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and park in a well-lit area and never leave valuables in plain view.
