(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) On November 14, 2014, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), South Porcupine Drug Unit supported by OPP Kirkland Lake Detachment, executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Kirkland Lake.
As a result of this investigation three sets of brass knuckles and five prohibited knives were seized. The prohibited weapons were imported from Hong Kong. Brandon ROBERGE, 20, of Kirkland Lake was charged with Importation of a Prohibit Weapon (1 count) and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (2 counts). He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on December 18, 2014 in Kirkland Lake.
