News release: Get ready now to hit the water this summer, take a Boating Essentials Course starting Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 7pm at Chippewa Secondary School offered by the North Bay Power and Sail Squadron, the #1 PCOC Provider in Canada.
This course runs one day a week, and includes a manual, classroom instruction, and exam. Learn safe boating operations, navigation, vessel handling, charting, plotting, electronic navigation & many other skills to help you relax and enjoy your boat. This course will get you going beyond the immediate waters adjacent to your cottage or marina. PCOC card gets you on the water but a CPS course will bring you home safely.
