Update:

 On July 25, OPP received a complaint of alleged theft of a puppy in Laird Township..

The OPP would like to advise that the puppy has been returned to its rightful owner and would like to thank the public for its assistance. 

Any person with information regarding the person responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

A Black phantom golden doodle has been reported stolen from its home in Laird township, est of Sault Ste. Marie.

On July 25, OPP got a complaint of theft of a puppy.

The five weeks old black phantom golden doodle, which is valued at $1,000, went missing from its overturned kennel and is believed to have been taken. 

The puppy has yet to be found and the OPP is asking for the public's assistance in locating the puppy.

Any person with information regarding the person responsible should immediately contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
