For the fifth consecutive year, the Bears Marching Band from St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Catholic Secondary School performed in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade.  It was both an early morning and a late night for the Bears, but their performance was a success.

“We are very proud to represent both St. Joseph-Scollard Hall as well as North Bay at such a large-scale event” said Brian Overholt, Band Director and Music Teacher at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall.  “The Toronto Parade is a long one. The students played and marched non-stop for almost two and a half hours, but the response from the huge crowd was enough fuel to keep them going until the end.”

If you would like to catch a performance by the Bears Marching Band, they will be performing on Sunday, November 23 here at the North Bay Santa Claus Parade, as well as opening the Downtown Christmas Walk on Friday night, November 28.
