OPP say that yesterday at approximately 1:35 p.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP responded to a call about an unwanted man at a local business on King Street, North Cobalt.
Police arrived immediately and a 52 year-old man was arrested and charged with several criminal offences.
Kenneth Reese of Coleman Township is charged:
- Assault with a Weapon
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose – (three counts)
- Carrying Concealed Weapon
- Theft Under $5,000 (two counts)
- Resist Peace Officer
- Possession of a Schedule I substance Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance Oxycodone
- Enter premises when entry prohibited
Reese will attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury today.
