Almaguin OPP arrest six over the week

The accused was charged for failing to comply with recognizance, flight from police, driving while disqualified, and possession of a schedule II substance.

The Almaguin Highlands OPP arrested several people between Thursday, September 15, and Sunday, September 18, for various breaches of court orders.

Police arrested and charged:

  • a young offender who was wanted for failing to appear in court and
  • James LAVICTOIRE, 28 of North Bay, also on a warrant for failing to appear in court and
  • Vincent BECKER, 45 of St. Catherines for failing to appear in court on matters dating back to 2008.
  • Bradey RICHARDS, 18 of Parry Sound was charged with failure to comply and was held for a bail hearing 
  • Marie TURNER, 44 of Ryerson Township was charged with breaching her conditional sentence.  The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, September 22, in Sundridge.
  • Robert TRAHAN, 36 of Magnetawan was arrested after OPP officers conducted a compliance check on the accused.  The accused was charged for failing to comply with recognizance, flight from police, driving while disqualified, and possession of a schedule II substance – cannabis marijuana 30 grams.
