The FLL qualifying tournament was held last weekend at West Ferris Secondary School.
This is the first year that two all-girls teams held the top spot.
One team is 3B's (Brilliant Brains and the Bot) from Sundridge with the local all-girls team, The IceBound Hounds, based at West Ferris Secondary School.
Hounds co-coach Tracey Truchon says the team consists of rookies and two four-year veterans, six girls total.
