The Rotaract Club of North Bay-Nipissing will be hosting its 3rd annual Poutine, Pints, and Plaid fundraiser on Friday, February 24 at The Grande Event Centre. Put on your best plaid and come out this highly anticipated event, featuring an all-you-can-eat poutine bar, plenty of pints, games, and live music by Angry Birds. Doors will open at 8:00pm. Last year, the event raised $4500 for the North Bay Regional Health Centre Green Light Laser campaign; this year’s fundraiser will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District.

Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office on Lakeshore Drive, the Big Brothers Big Sisters location in Northgate Mall, or at Cecil’s Brewhouse and Kitchen. You may also purchase tickets by contacting the Rotaract Club at 705-492-2660 or emailing [email protected].

“Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District is very pleased to be the charitable recipient of the popular Rotaract fundraiser Poutine, Pints, and Plaid. Big Brothers Big Sisters served 275 children and youth in the community through individual and group mentoring programs in 2016. Mentoring programs for at-risk youth make a visible, significant difference to North Bay and District and would not be possible without the ongoing support of organizations such as Rotaract,” said Darlene Jamieson, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay and District.
