(North Bay, ON) The Parent Involvement Committee of the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board hosted close to 300 members of the community Tuesday evening for a special presentation by Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Alex Russell.  The presentation entitled “That Big Bad World – Helping Kids Thrive in Anxious Times” was free to everyone.

The Parent Involvement Committee of NPSC received special funding for this event by applying for a Parents Reaching Out (PRO) Grant.  Ontario’s Parents Reaching Out grants encourage parent engagement at local, regional and provincial levels.
