Northern Credit Union (NCU) is not your typical financial institution.

Elected by the members, our Northern Delegates act as the flag-bearers of our cause – championing local initiatives, helping Northerners in their communities, and working hard to raise awareness of our efforts to give back."
NCU locally has been involved in many projects and fundraising initiatives over the past year. Larger fundraisers have included: Big Bike for Heart and Stroke, Near North Palliative Care Network, Relay for Life – Canadian Cancer Society, CIBC Run for the Cure, Nipissing Serenity Hospice, and the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation.
"Participation in other important events such as laying a wreath at Remembrance Day, Regional Science Fair, Kumon Student of the Month, Big Brothers – Big Sisters and with the North Bay Police Association Drug & Alcohol Awareness campaign, truly brings us to the grass roots of our community. One of our highlights every year is the support of our members during the PJ Santa campaign, and each year it gets bigger. This past year, we donated 240 pairs of PJs to the Children’s Aid Society."
