Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 221 calls for service and arrested and charged 13 people with the following offences:
- One person was charged with one count of trafficking, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon;
- One person was charged with one count of trafficking, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon;
- One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 (shoplifting), two counts of breach of probation, one count of assault and one count of obstruct police officer;
- One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 (shoplifting), one count of assault and one count of obstruct police officer;
- One person was charged with one count of driving while ability impaired by drug; and three counts of driving while under suspension;
- One person was charged with possession of a controlled substance;
- One person was charged with one count of breach of probation and two counts of breach of recognizance;
- One person was charged with one count of domestic assault and one count of breach of probation;
- Four people were charged with public intoxication; and
- One person was charged with public intoxication and unlawful consumption of alcohol.
