13 people arrested over the weekend

One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 (shoplifting), two counts of breach of probation, one count of assault and one count of obstruct police officer.

Over the weekend, the North Bay Police Service responded to 221 calls for service and arrested and charged 13 people with the following offences:

  • One person was charged with one count of trafficking, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon;
  • One person was charged with one count of trafficking, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of property obtained by crime and one count of possession of a prohibited weapon;
  • One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 (shoplifting), two counts of breach of probation, one count of assault and one count of obstruct police officer;
  • One person was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 (shoplifting), one count of assault and one count of obstruct police officer;
  • One person was charged with one count of driving while ability impaired by drug; and three counts of driving while under suspension;
  • One person was charged with possession of a controlled substance;
  • One person was charged with one count of breach of probation and two counts of breach of recognizance;
  • One person was charged with one count of domestic assault and one count of breach of probation;
  • Four people were charged with public intoxication; and
  • One person was charged with public intoxication and unlawful consumption of alcohol.
