Cory Marks has amassed more than 100 million audio streams globally for his music since 2020.

But now, the North Bay Rock and Country artist is hitting the big screen making an appearance in the horror film "The Retaliators" which opens on September 14 in theatres worldwide and here in North Bay on September 17.

"It was awesome, it was fun, I was in Vegas for two weeks prior to that recording the new album and popped over to LA, it was a beautiful drive and filmed the video for 'Blame it on the Double' with Tyler (Connolly) and Jason (Hook) and while I was in Vegas I actually got to shoot my part as Jimmy the bartender as my role in the movie," recalls Marks.

"It is a very small role but exciting nonetheless to have this film come out to see my role and hear my song in the movie."

This month, Marks will also be releasing his first song in over a year; "Burn It Up,", which is included in "The Retaliators" film.

There will also be a "Retaliators-themed" video for "Burn It Up" released on the same day as the single and the movie soundtrack.

Cory's rock-themed EP will release in early November and a country-themed EP will release in early 2023.
