Young man sprayed in the face with bear spray

On the 24th of May shortly after midnight it is alleged that a small group of teenagers were drinking at Kinsmen Beach when they were approached by a larger group of 15 to 20 people who were attempting to get them to fight.

During this time a young male from the first group was sprayed in the face with bear spray. He was taken to the hospital and treated and then released.

The only description of the attacker is that he was white, 5’4, slim build and wore a white shirt with a black hat.
