'I just wanted to provide a place where everyone can have a good time and experience something North Bay has not really seen before'

A pair of young entrepreneurs are trying to fill an entertainment void that they feel has been in North Bay since the pandemic.

Bourke Cazabon and Riccardo Celebre have teamed up to take over a portion of the Moose's Cookhouse restaurant on Main Street in North Bay.

They have transformed it into a unique weekend night club which opened last Friday.

"I want to give back to the community because I was born and raised here and I noticed there was not really anywhere for our generation to go and kind of experience something you would normally travel away to experience or go down south," said Cazabon.

It's called the "YTL Experience," which stands for "Your Time is Limited."

Bourke Cazabon, who is also an actor in the popular series "Shoresy," says he came up with the YTL concept just over two years ago.

"I fell in love with the whole meaning of how 'your time is limited.' when I was in Asia, and that is why I started travelling at such a young age which is why I live by the term 'your time is limited.' I really noticed the lifestyle over there and how happy people are, just the cultural difference," he said.

The 20-year-old, who turns 21 in May, says his mental health was tested during the pandemic, but he says he was also impacted heavily by a car accident that took place in June of 2021.

That's why he and his partner stepped forward and are willing to take the risk with their new business adventure.

"Now is a really good time to do this," he said.

"Obviously everybody got a really big hit with COVID-19, and I just feel North Bay just has not really been alive or felt the same since then and I am sure everyone has felt the same thing. I just did not want to wait any longer."

Cazabon insists this is more than just a nightclub. He says they are hoping to run for bigger events for all ages. Cazabon says they are also looking at launching a new YTL Experience clothing line in the new year.

Bourke's younger brother, McCrae Cazabon, a talented local videographer,  has also stepped up to create glamorous videos on Instagram and TikTok promoting the new business.

"Our mission is to curate events that are more than just a gathering," their social media post stated.

"They are a sanctuary of joy, a celebration of the now, we are here to offer you a gateway to unforgettable moments, to experiences that echo with laughter and resonate with the heartbeat of life."
