World Renowned Fashion Designer Joins Art On Main

Art on Main (AOM) welcomes clothing designer Tracy East to its commercial gallery at 143 Main St. W. in downtown North Bay.

Tracy is a Magna cum Laude of the SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. After returning to Canada in 2002, she launched a new line of wearable art and home textiles using hand dying, textile stamping, Japanese hand embroidery, fabric collage and appliquà techniques.

Tracy's designs have been worn to Buckingham Palace, the White House, the Kennedy Centre Honours Galas, inaugural balls, Opening Night at the Metropolitan Opera as well as many other events. Her gowns have also been featured in the silent auction of the Ambassadors Ball in Washington, DC.

Art on Main is a collective of emerging and established local artists dedicated to creating and sharing exceptional work in a variety of media. This commercial gallery is open Monday Saturday, 10 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.
