Woman flees scene

On the 27th of June shortly after 11 PM it is alleged that a woman drove a vehicle off the road on Marshall Av. and then hit a rock outcrop. This vehicle was then seen to be on fire and the driver fled the scene. Csts. Ken Rice and Roger Drolet of the North Bay Police located a suspect a short distance away.

Sarah MADSEN 19 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Failing to Remain at the Scene of a Collision, Arson, Driving With No Licence and Breach of Probation. She was held for a bail hearing.
