A 29 year old Sudbury woman, Heather Lockwood, is confirmed deceased after going through the ice on a snowmobile on Oastler Lake in Seguin Township, just south of Parry Sound.
OPP say that last night West Parry Sound Detachmeent, assisted by Parry Sound District Emergency Medical Services and Seguin Township Fire Department responded to a missing person on the lake.
Police were advised that a person did not return to a planned location and after a search of the lake, snowmobile tracks led to open water.
