Woman arrested in home invasion.

The four accused forced their way into the apartment, exposed a handgun, demanded cash, threatened the victims, and confined them to the apartment for about three hours

Shortly before 1:30 p.m yesterday, following an ongoing investigation into a report of a robbery that took place in early January in a  residential unit in North Bay, North Bay Police executed a warrant for the arrest of Vicky Kathleen Simeon, age 27, of North Bay.

Simeon was located on Wyld Street.

City police have issued a correction to their initial release. They now say she was held in custody, pending bail. She is charged with:

  • One count of break, enter & commit;
  • One count of pointing a firearm;
  • One count of utter threats to cause death;
  • One count of extortion with firearm;
  • One count of robbery with firearm; and
  • One count of forcible confinement.

The victims of these crimes are three males who were all roommates, living in an apartment on Fisher Street at the time.

Police say that sometime between January 2nd and 6th, 2016, the four accused forced their way into the apartment, exposed a handgun, demanded cash, threatened the victims, and confined them to the apartment for about three hours before leaving the premises with a television and a DVD recorder belonging to the victims.
