Wind chill warning for New Liskeard - Temagami continued

Wind chills below minus 40 overnight and Thursday morning.

This is a warning that extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

Temperatures in the above regions are expected to fall to near minus 30 celsius tonight. When combined with wind speeds of 15 to 20 km/h..Wind chill values below minus 40 will result. The coldest values are expected to occur overnight and Thursday morning. Conditions will gradually improve later on Thursday as temperatures moderate somewhat.
