The Alzheimer Society of North Bay and District is hosting ‘Make a Memory - Scrapbooking Memories for Alzheimer’s’ Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Empire Living Centre.

This event is a way for you to keep your family stories and memories alive. It is a way of keeping your memories prospering through photos and words, a celebration of a lifetime for you and those close to you to remember.

Alzheimer’s is a brain disease that affects your memory, scrapbooking cherished memories can make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. Whether you are a person who wants to treasure their memories, a caregiver, family member, a person with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia, or a person who just loves to scrapbook this event is for you!

Register today and join us in this wonderful fundraiser to benefit the families in our community facing Alzheimer disease. Scrapbooking Memories for Alzheimer’s is for everyone! Together we can make Alzheimer disease a memory!

Make a Memory will take place on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at the Empire Living Centre from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Scrapbooking@PhotoMetro will be onsite providing instruction and assistance.

Registration includes one of three scrapbooking kits of your choice; A Moment in Time, Christmas Keepsake, or Wholly Scrap! Each kit comes complete with coordinating card stock, patterned paper and embellishments. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
