Cst. Dix of the North Bay Police Service observed a male, known to him, acting suspiciously at an intersection on Fergusson Street at 0400 this morning.

This 29-year-old male immediately put one hand behind his back as the officer stopped to talk to him. The male refused to show his hand and was shuffling something under the police car while talking to the Police. Cst. Dix recovered a quantity of cocaine like substance on the ground and on the person of this male.

William Latour, 29 years old of no fixed address in North Bay has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and is being held for a bail hearing today.
