Wednesday Night Hot Spot

The regular ‘Hot Spot Wednesday’ for Communities in Bloom will take place this Wednesday June 14 on Josephine Street and McKeown Avenue (Across the Street from No Frills) at 6pm weather permitting.

The committee welcomes volunteers to show up with gloves on, and help clean up North Bay a section at a time. Last year the crew uncovered all sorts of interesting items including everything from tires to a remembrance wreath. This year hot spot areas have already uncovered some unique items including laundry cartons, birdcages and tires.

The Wednesday Hotspot clean up will continue through to the end of summer with time and location posted on BayToday, and everyone is encouraged to pitch in to clean up North Bay this summer.
