East Ferris Twp - On Tuesday August 12th 2008, North Bay OPP responded to report of a residential fire at 1252 Quae Quae Road in East Ferris Township.
The home was fully engulfed and the East Ferris Volunteer Fire Department were already on scene battling the blaze when police arrived. There are no injuries sustained by occupants and/or firefighters.
As this fire is suspicious in nature, an investigation to determine the cause will be conducted by members of the Ontario Provincial Police and the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office. Assistance will be provided by the East Ferris Fire Department.
More information will be released pending further investigation.
