Mattawa’s Voyageur Days keeps the music coming, recently announcing a line-up of acts playing Annie’s Park throughout the weekend.
Voyageur Days takes place over the weekend of July 22nd to 24th, and for the first time, organizers are hosting daytime shows at Annie’s Park, just off Main Street, next to Scott’s Discount Store.
The town has been putting some work into the park lately, including a new gazebo, seating, and a wooden fence to help separate it from the neighbouring building. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons, everyone is welcome to stop by Annie’s Park and enjoy the music free of charge.

The bands are local, and on Friday at noon Country Stranger with Tamara Frankie take the stage. They play until 3:30, when the Tiki Bar Band take over until 5:00. Jeff Beadle kicks things off on Saturday—again at noon—and following his set The Unknown plugs in for a two o’clock show. Nasty Bucket closes the day with their set from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. On Sunday, Don Delorme performs, and the length of his set would make the Grateful Dead proud, playing from noon until four.
There will be food, including Beavertails, the Foodland Summer Tour Food Truck, and Raj Sweet and Treat is also setting up shop for the weekend. New Ontario Brewing Company is coming to town to set up a beer garden, which will serve throughout the weekend, beginning at 11 a.m.
Organizers suggest bringing a chair if you plan to sit for a spell, as the seating in the park might fill up fast.
