Mattawa Voyageur Days will celebrate its 20th anniversary July 28-30. 

To celebrate, the event is doing what it calls a "Classic Rewind."

“We have had a number of discussions on the line-up and what better way to recognize 20 years than to do what we do best…a Classic Rewind and see if we can re-do what we did year one…and that’s what we did,” said Chair Jacques Begin. 

Friday July 28, will see Dan Davidson and the Road Hammers.

A special guest is Stompin' Taw Conners, Stomping Tom Connors’ son performing an hour of his father’s greatest hits after the dedication ceremonies of the new Big Joe Mufferaw statue. 

Toronto, Headpins lead singer, the Darby Mills Project and Trooper along with special guests Prism will headline Mattawa Voyageur Days Saturday July 29, from 5 till midnight.

“We are so fortunate to have the three bands that kicked off year one reunite and come play year 20 and back together on the Mattawa Voyageur Days stage. Plus the Friday night new country and special presentations…this is a total WOW !!!," added Begin.

Other acts will be announced for the Tribute to Canada 150 for Sunday July 30 with other events and activities to be held all weekend long. 

Special prices for weekend wristbands are now on sale at all area Scotiabanks and Caisse Populaires, online at voyageurdays.com as well the Mattawa Travel Information Centre for $35.40 + tax (total $40.00) until Friday March 10.

Prices go up to $50 starting March 11.
