Geoff Walker, a part-time beekeeper in New Liskeard, Ont., is used to seeing swarms of honeybees find their way into attics, walls and other nooks and crannies of people's homes around this time of year.

But the call he received on June 23 was definitely a new one.

On that particular Friday, a woman called Walker in a panic from a grocery store parking lot after the hood of her pickup truck was taken over by a swarm of some 10,000 bees.

His capture of the swarm was caught on amateur video and posted to his business Facebook page, Walker's Honey, June 27.

Sudbury.com spoke to Walker by phone from New Liskeard Thursday afternoon.
